Twisters Sports
A Brief History
-
In 1981, Twisters’ owner, Nancy Kludt,
helps Pam Bileck become Northern California’s first International Elite
gymnast. Bileck goes on to compete for the United States at the 1984 Olympics in Los
Angeles, CA.

In 1994, Twisters adds
Rock Climbing and
Camps to its services. Twisters reputation in the community allows it to
provide services to the recreational departments of Mountain View, Palo Alto,
Los Altos, and Cupertino.

In 1998, Twisters adds
Rhythmic Gymnastics to its
curriculum. Twisters becomes the training site for Gunn, St. Francis,
Los Altos, and Palo Alto High School Teams. Twisters services to the city of Mountain
View, Palo Alto, Los Altos, and Cupertino extends to camps, tae kwon do,
rock climbing, and camps.

In 2006, Twisters adds
after school care, Kids Club,
to its services and offers pick - up service to schools in Mountain
View, Los Altos, Palo Alto, and Sunnyvale. Former Cal gymnast, Allan Fusilero, and
former UC Davis Hall of Fame gymnast, Ericka Fusilero, purchase Twisters from
Ron Ludwig and Nancy Kludt in November of 2006.

Forty one years later, Twisters continues
to provides an array of sports activities and entertainment to children 18 months
to 18 years of age. Emphasizing character development through sports
training, Twisters’ believes that positive sports
instruction plays an integral role as children grow into
adulthood.
